Welcome to BonzAI. By using this iOS application, you agree to these Terms of Use.

1. Purpose

BonzAI is an intelligent assistant application for iOS that allows users to:

• Interact with artificial intelligence models (both local and remote)
• Execute certain actions (weather, web search, location, etc.)
• Connect to external services
• Analyze documents locally on their device

2. Access to the service

• The application is available on iOS.
• Some features may require an internet connection (e.g., web search, remote AI services).
• BonzAI does not store any user data on its own servers. All data processing occurs locally on your device unless you explicitly choose to use external services.

3. Third-party services and models

AI Providers

When you choose to connect to third-party AI providers (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.):

• Their respective terms of service and privacy policies apply
• Data you share with these services is governed by their terms
• BonzAI acts solely as an interface to these services

Local AI Models

BonzAI offers access to local AI models sourced from HuggingFace:

• Each model has its own license and terms of use
• You are responsible for complying with the specific terms of each model you choose to use
• Model availability and performance depend on your device capabilities

Other External Services

If you connect to services like Home Assistant or other third-party platforms, their respective terms of service apply to your use of those services through BonzAI.

4. Responsible use

You agree to use BonzAI in compliance with the law and not to:

• misuse the application for illegal or harmful purposes,
• attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or access the source code,
• use the AI to produce or distribute illegal, discriminatory, violent, or harmful content,
• violate the terms of service of any third-party services or AI models you access through BonzAI.

5. Data and privacy

• BonzAI prioritizes local data processing on your iOS device.
• The application does not collect or store your personal data on external servers.
• When you use external services, data is transmitted directly to those services according to their privacy policies.
• You remain responsible for the data you provide and share through the application.

6. Intellectual property

• The BonzAI application and its design belong to its publisher.
• You retain ownership of the content you create or import (files, conversations, etc.).
• Third-party AI models and services retain their respective intellectual property rights.

7. Limitation of liability

• The publisher of BonzAI cannot be held responsible for errors or results produced by artificial intelligence models (local or remote).
• The publisher is not responsible for the availability, performance, or terms of third-party services.
• You are solely responsible for your use of the responses and actions generated through the application.
• BonzAI is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

8. Modifications to the Terms of Use

The publisher may update these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes through app updates or in-app notifications.
